WHAT IS JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT (JA)? JA is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands –on programs.

WHO IS JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT of  SOUTH FLORIDA? JASF was founded in 1959 and served 373 high school students.  Today our programs span K-12 with age-appropriate curricula designed around our core purpose.

WHAT IS JA WORLD? JA World Huizenga Center at Broward College is a 59,500 square foot facility dedicated to bringing the term “experiential learning” to life, and allows us to reach approximately 50,000 young people a year.  In partnership with the Broward County Public School System, every 5th and 8th grade students has JA program material built into their classroom curriculum culminating with their experiential day at JA World.  In addition to the regular school year, JA World conducts summer camps and invites speakers to come and share knowledge and experiences.  One of our speakers this year was Ruth Spiegel, a long time donor and volunteer and Cold Stone Franchisee.
